Ken White

Ken White

Ken was born in Lewisham, London, in the 1960s, the youngest of five children and an early storyteller with a habit of turning everyday life into adventure.

After a varied career that included cooking, shipping, sales, and photography, his creative path took an unexpected turn on Halloween 1992 in Brașov, Romania, where a chance meeting with milliner Tracey Mogard led to both a life partnership and the internationally recognised hat brand Herald and Heart.

Alongside photography and fashion, Ken never stopped writing. From humorous poetry and radio plays to scripts and fiction, his work has long been driven by rhythm, wit, and an eye for the absurd.

Today he lives in France, finally giving long-gestating stories the time they deserve and developing new scripts and books while occasionally selling houses to keep a very polite French wolf from the door.

Ken White sera présent au salon du livre 2026 (Salle de Carbonnier – Castillonnès) : programme et infos par ici
